Pulp & Paper
Many of the paper mills in North America are older with limited time and resources to address the many outstanding maintenance issues. When capital becomes available, projects must be done on a fast-track basis to minimize downtime. Specialty Coating Solutions (SCS) has installed coatings on tile, concrete, and metal pulp and stock storage tanks providing years of extended service life. Coating formulations are available for wastewater, bleached pulp, 50% caustic solutions and other high temperature chemical exposures. SCS will work with the mill to determine the best coating or lining solution for their needs. Over the years and throughout North America, SCS has planned and safely tackled many quick shutdown type situations within this industry. We have worked with clients such as Jackson Paper, Somerset Fiber, Rock-Tenn, Sonoco, Wausau Papers, Stora Enso, Weyerhaeuser, Georgia-Pacific, International Paper, and others.
